Shannon Harper of Harper VW in Knoxville, TN asked Tony & K.W. of 3D Head Custom Paint to go a little beyond their normal custom painting expertise and add some extra custom touches to the '67 VW Rat Rod he had on the display floor. To fulfill his request for a lot of details the viewer had to look for to discover, the guys added lots of tricks like hand painted 1/16 " green stripes to the white walls, diamond plate rubber matting for the floors, custom crafted pedal covers and door sill plates of diamond plate aluminum , and custom painted interior including dash, steering wheel and door panels by Tony, custom airbrushed headliner by K.W. and murals under the trunk hood and engine bonnet plus many other little trick details.
